I'm Huzaifa Saleem, a full-stack engineer based in Pakistan, working remotely with clients everywhere. I've spent 7 years building software products.

I started as a MERN-stack developer building web apps the normal way. Then the ground shifted: the scarce skill stopped being "can you write the code" and became "can you make an AI system do real work, safely, in production." I moved early and deliberately — building agent harnesses, MCP servers, voice agents, and LLM pipelines, and shipping them for real businesses.

The through-line in my work: I build the whole system, not the model call. The agent is one component; the guardrails, approval flows, job queues, billing, and dashboards around it are what make it a business asset instead of a demo.

Outside client work I ship my own things — a paid macOS product on Homebrew, a system-wide AI autocomplete, a Rust terminal with an embedded coding agent — because building products end to end is a skill you keep only by using it.

[+] the demo is 5% of the workEvery AI system I've shipped is mostly queues, auth, audit trails, and edge cases. I price and plan for the 95%, which is why my things reach production.

[+] design from the incident backwardsScopes, idempotency, and confirm handshakes are physics; prompts are suggestions. I decide the blast radius before the blast.

[+] humans approve, machines draftThe highest-ROI architecture in applied AI. I build approval stages the agent structurally cannot skip — not checkboxes it's asked to respect.

[+] ship the whole loopCode that isn't deployed, billed, documented, and handed off is inventory, not value. I've shipped my own product to paying customers to keep that muscle honest.
